Log the Thirtieth

The night passed slowly, but eventually the light of the sun kissed our lips and I could feel the power of Harrimast filling me again. Today would be the day Jenny dies!! And I know not where he came from, but the captain had managed to find Drak Sockit again. He would be a welcome addition to our army.

We moved closer to the ape city and the ziggarat. Kemby pulled out Moab's telescope and uses it's magic to scry the inside of Jenny's rooms. Then, with a simple twist, he pulls us inside the telescope and we arrive in the room where we had first fought the veil wench. We could sense her evilness coming from behind one of the doors, so we lay down many, many blessing up us and kick open the door.

The room before us was even more elaborate than the one that we were currently in. Gems and gold covered almost ever bit of the walls and the throne upon which Jenny sat was carved of ivory. Apes and animals were stationed around the room and rushed forward as Jenny demanded our deaths. But this time I was ready for her. I channeled the searing light of the sun through me and poured it into her. Her screams were the sweetest sounds that I had heard in many a day. Kemby moved into the room to hold off the damn dirty apes, while the captain sent his magicks into the room to sear the flesh from any ape that was stupid enough to get close. Lucky, Drak and little Anna held the door to the original room and managed to butcher a handful of apes with only their wits and blades. I stood by the door, waiting for the bitch to show her face again, when one of the apes appeared and started casting magicks at me. I could feel the blessing of Harrimast fall away from me. Jenny must have sensed some turn in battle, for she appeared from behind a pillar, like some cowardly assassin and tried to compel Kemby. But Harrimast was still protecting him and the searing light of Harrimast reached out and turned the wanton wench into a cloud of mist.

A great scream of pain and agony erupted from behind me and I turned to see little Anna cradling something that half resembled a dog. It took a few seconds to realize that it was what was left of nose buggary....the poor beast had been hacked and tortured almost to death by the black pirate. Seeing this pushed little Anna over the edge. She transformed into one of the huge apes and rushed into the battle. With her leading the charge we quickly butchered the remaining apes. Although the hairy spell caster did try to flee from us, but Kemby and Lucky were quick with their bows and slowed him enough for the captain to catch up to him and fry him where he stood.

But then we discovered that the apes were not the only thing in this cursed pyramid that would be trying to kill us. As the door was opened a set of blades leapt from the floor, slicing into Kemby and the captain. It seems that we would have to tread lightly as we raced after the evil pirate wench.

Now the search had begun....where was Jenny's coffin?
